I’m not nuts, I’m condiments. I’ve been promoted.
Mar 2nd, 2007 | By Mike | Category: UncategorizedJosh Green injured his knee against the Dogs and will gone for 4-6 weeks. So welcome back Santala; congrats on being the backup plan. Here’s a tip: try getting more pucks on net and not, oh, five feet to the left or right this time around. Play well, I’m sure Chouinard, Rypien, Moran and Reid will be practicing their voodoo on ya accordingly.
Another Friday, another A-Team quote. Anyone else ready for the punk Walz and the Wild on Sunday with the division lead on the line? Oddly enough, they have their third goalie in (who is doing fine) and we have one of the best. In contrast, they can score in bunches and we need Jeff Cowan to score timely goals. It should be interesting…by which I mean frustrating enough that I’ll put my foot through the wall or just start sobbing silently to myself.

i know exactly what you mean when you say you’ll probably be sobbing silently to yourself
i love my canucks but sometimes I hate loving them
it should be a good game against the WILD, an important game, a “statement” game a ‘ must win ‘ game if they want to stay in first !!!!
so a lot of good reasons for them to come out strong –
so they’ll probably come out flat
GO LUONGO!

If they come out flat or let the Wild dominate the play, they’ll be screwed. It would be nice for a change if Cowan, Cooke or Burrows set the pace early, so we’ll see. Should be good…and by good I mean not a 1-0 game. Some goals would be nice!

It seems to be a good game so far, now if only the Canucks could score next and then score again, and again and again
whats with luongo though?
March 5th, 2007 4:32 am
Yeah, his play has been average the past few games. Maybe they need to get outshot more!
March 5th, 2007 4:50 am
possibly he’s suffering from the flu as well, that may have something to do with it.
20 minutes away from a canucks win!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed and the tissues handy
March 5th, 2007 5:16 am
Luongo’s going to have to win it for them. Again. I’d complain, but he gets 6 million a season for this very reason…
March 5th, 2007 5:20 am
Well the Canucks are getting shots, and seem to still be playing hard. Luongo so far is making the stops.
March 5th, 2007 5:27 am
HMm tie game – less than 3 left to go.
Can the Canucks get it back?
We can only hope !!!
March 5th, 2007 5:30 am
You could almost see this coming from a mile away….why they can’t play a full 60 is beyond me.
March 5th, 2007 5:33 am
cuz then they wouldn’t be frustrating
and isn’t that their trademark.
i think we still retain first cuz we get at least one point cuz its going into OT.
March 5th, 2007 5:44 am
actually, if the wild win, i think they get first. 37 wins each, but the wild are winning the series against vancouver and i think thats the tie breaker
March 5th, 2007 5:46 am
we have a game in hand though
so i think we would still get first cuz we’d have the same amount of points but the wild would have played one more game !
GO LUONGO GO NASLUND
March 5th, 2007 5:47 am
i love Naslund but he cant do shootouts !
March 5th, 2007 5:50 am
COME ON LUONGO!!!!!!!!!!!
March 5th, 2007 5:51 am
Okay, now that I have completely wasted my evening commenting on various blogs while I listened to the hockey game -
where would we be without LUONGO?
WOW !!!!
I hate the shootout – but I love winning in a shootout !!!!!!

nothing like making a game EXTREMELY close to start the week off correctly.
