You're both right. They sink or swim, like the Canucks, on what that top line is. Otherwise, it's just wasting 58 minutes of ice time for the two minutes Iginla tries his best.

At least the Canucks have a better D by far. I seriously give Aucion 15 games before a groin pull and I give Nolan about...15 seconds.

Watch Keenan totally ruin Huselius again, and possibly Tanguay.

The Flames' offense is still the suck (as if the Canucks) and now they are without Hamrlik.

There's no reason to think that the Flames are a shoo-in to surpass the Canucks, since neither team has done much over the off-season. Last year, the Canucks won the Northwest, and the Flames barely made the playoffs. This year, it's pretty safe to say that unless Keenan and Nolan have more impact than they should (especially since Keenan has a higher chance of destroying the team than revitalizing it), the Canucks will finish ahead of the Flames. All predictions that say otherwise (hello Hockey News) are simply repeats of last year's claims that the 'Nucks would miss the playoffs: Wishful thinking. Defense wins, and the Canucks are still better than the Flames in that regard.
