Greener – He did play a hell of a lot better then I thought he ever could. I’ll ignore the fact Vancouver doesn’t exactly have an awarding winning offense, but he did his job and got scrappy with Pettinger. So it was like the Cloutier of old…feisty, but still losing in the end!

I just got back from this game. My friend and I damning Cloutier with the faintest praise because it wasn’t 4-0 Canucks after the first. That’s where it is with that guy.

I actually think I may agree with you on the Sedins, but then again, who the hell will play on the first line? Especially with Naslund and Morrison gone? BTW I think they’ll both come back because Nonis will cave and give them 2.5 million for a single season or something silly like that.

Nonis may have to move some bodies to get the talent this team needs. To think we are in the EXACT same position right now that we were last year is beyond frustrating.

I don’t blame Nonis for not acquiring a Brad Richards at the deadline because he’s protecting the team long-term.
The Swedes are too gutless in Vancouver. Soft. We should make the playoffs but will get pushed around by whoever we face.
I just can’t wait until Naslund is gone and we have $6 million to burn on 1 or 2 Canadian scoring centers and wingers.
And the Sedins should NOT be first liners. I think they play better without the spotlight on them.

Yeah, it’s been pretty “fun” watching the team fall apart.

I still think they can challenge for the post season, especially with the Avs falling apart due to injuries. But they’ve got to start playing their good ol’ boring system again, and it’d definitely help if Pettinger was the 25-goal scorer Nonis hopes he can be.

Sheesh, what ever happened to netting Sundin? (Thanks THN for getting my hopes… up? … with little to back your claim!)
