Can’t he do both? C’mon, if Garth Snow can be GM, then Trev can do something in management. And build his condos on the side. And be all the more rich (mentally and spiritually).

Well, Linden did say he hasn’t looked at a career as a coach XD since he’s interested in real estate. (Be pretty good biz for him since Canucks fans will probably snap up the condos he builds haha)

Yeah but where is Linden going to play? Vigneault barely used him this year. Considering how this season went and the changes that are coming, where does Linden fit on the roster? No where really…unless you put him behind the bench. hint hint

Gah. Cujo practically gave him ample opportunities to score tonight and he whiffed. The Garage was going O_O everytime he did and was just waiting to explode. Sucks he missed the shot on most of them.

Though it is probably that it is his last game tonight… he did say he hasn’t thought about that decision yet and now the Canucks fans probably put more pressure on him retiring with that sendoff…

then again, Phoenix did a sort-of-sendoff for Jeremy Roenick last season with the Canucks and he didn’t retire…

If he wants to save his job…besides getting some offense in there, having Linden in there in some sort of daily respect would go a long way.

In fact, at this point I question Vignault’s ability to switch up the team’s playing style depending on the need. I still think we give him another year to hash it out, but if he can’t change the team’s game some when the going gets tough, they’re bound to collapse year after year!

So Trev 4 Coach it is!!!

He could do a lot for the NHL, but before he goes that route, he should help his home. Hey make him coach…not that I want to see Vigneault leave really, but Trev behind the bench? We could do a lot worse.

Linden’s enough of a thinker that he would fill a management roll very well, IMO.

Still, isn’t he the type of guy who would lean more towards NHLPA duties?
