My friends our poor team is a mess. Last night they couldn’t get a damn thing done against the Oilers and it’s not even that the Oil was that good, it was a case of the Canucks being just that much worse.

How many times are we going to use these here interweb pages to beg and plead for this team to at least play a solid 60 minutes? Failing that, how about most of each period? Between first shot’s being goals and an endless parade to the box it was easily one of the worst efforts of the season last night.

But why look in the rearview? Tonight another set of kittens comes to town, though this one is on a streak that has them now in playoff contention. They have two healthy starting goalies (unlike Vancouver) and are full of confidence (again, unlike Vancouver).

I’m not sure who gets the nod tonight, but if I can play Vigneault for a second, I put Schneider in and read this team the riot act for a dreadful Saturday night. God help us all if the Canucks start yet another game flat. I want to believe they won’t.
