December 30 - Look everyone! Santa shipped the chrome krona over just a bit late this holiday season. You can see here that he’s checking his cell phone to see if Glen Sather called. Alas Mats, you’re up shit creek now. And his baldness will get a first hand view of what life is as a Canuck when he views the Vancouver/Philadelphia game this evening. So let’s liveblog the hell out of it!

December 22 - Sure the picture is old, but you have to appreciate Giguere failing, Pronger not helping and an old man in front causing havoc. Just replace Smoke with (ugh) Sundin in a few weeks and you have your second half of the season! Liveblog goodness forthcoming.

December 16 - It’s only fitting that in the same week where we’ll honor a Canuck for life by sending his number to the rafters in GM Place, we are left to still debate the merits of another guy who (if you ask me) doesn’t have a right to play on the home team in the same arena. Enough is enough, time to go away Mats.

December 10 - Down in Nashvegas last night, Sanford stood tall and the Canucks won a hard fought 3-1 contest to jump over Calgary for the NW lead. But while Davison and Kesler will escape the long arm of Campbellian justice, will Alex Burrows for his hit on J.P. Dumont?

December 7 - Michael Bay is back to help the good name of hockey. C’mon if Tampa can embrace Saw, then certainly there’s room in our world for Jason Voorhees (as long as he doesn’t say ’sloppy seconds’).

December 4: A few of us bloggy types - Miss 604, Thomas Lupton and Humming Giraffe - are going to do our best not to curse, cry or light car fires while livebloging on canucks.com tonight for your enjoyment.

December 3 - I’m bored with losing streaks, so I’ll do what so many others before me have done when they got bored with the basic cable version of reality: make crap up! So who would make a better Canuck - Prucha or Havlat?

December 2: The 2008 Comedy of Errors Tour continues with a third straight loss, this time to a team who has never made the playoffs, ranks dead last on the power play and deployed a rookie goaltender. And now our team suddenly has exactly one healthy goalie. The upshot? YOU (yes you) could be the next goaltender if Schneider goes down.

November 22 - Humiliate Naslund’s Rangers? Check. Let Demitra pick apart his old team? Check. Bang heads with our former favorite pest Matt Cooke? Cooke was chucked out in 30 seconds. The bigger news is Luongo is out and it’s officially the Curtis Sanford show.

November 17 - Taking in the Demitra & Wellwood show in livebloggy format in a bit. And while I suspect they’ll win tonight opps!, it’s Wednesday I am staring at intently. But first thing’s first: a dance with Garth Snow, the best back-up goalie ever.
