August 31 – What a great week it’s been: Kyle Wellwood needs some chamomile tea, Steve Bernier needs a pat on the back and our GM doesn’t care if you heckle him roundly game after game. All of this and training camp hasn’t even started! It’s truly a gift being a Canucks fan, isn’t it?!

Returning to recap the mess

August 26 – Amazing. I was convinced the world was going to be far more interesting (or destructive) a place in my absence and it would appear that not a damn thing happened. Nothing! Well, ok Nagy did us all a favor and left the continent. For that we all can rejoice and hold hands.

Thank God training camp starts soon.
